In a word - Camp

That save at 0-0

Might have been a very different game had Bolton scored at that stage of the match.

Newell is a fantastic player. Skilful and composed. Young and ours. This lad is surely the best of Evans' many signings.

Man of match for me today

Evans fetched him in and I will be surprised if he doesn't come knocking for him .

My MOTM today but it was close

I would eat my hat if Joe Newell ever played under Steve Evans again.

Good first half performance by Joe Newell, then he ripped the Bolton defence to bits in the second half, and they were resorting to kicking him to try to slow him down. Definitely man-of-the-match.
Danny Ward played well, but should have got on the score sheet first half with two chances that were easier than the goal he scored... all the Millers performed well though - great team performance

Just in case that happens IBS are we talking Fez, Fedora, Top Hat, Woolly hat including pompom or just a knotted hanky from your Morris days XD

JOE NEWELL = GARETH BALE, very similar in how they play

27-12-2015, 08:55 AM
Joe's a lot prettier though

How many times has Camp saved up Jolly? I've lost count now. If we'd have been at the races against Ipswich he'd did it there also.

Newell is our best and probably will be our most valuable asset soon.

What a player. Just think that if the Committee was in place in August we would never have signed him!

27-12-2015, 01:42 PM
Fantastic player! He's got a brilliant all round game, He's got the pace, skill and a good delivery to play out wide and the composure, vision and pass ability to play in a more central role. Best signing we have made for a long time imo.

27-12-2015, 02:06 PM
Agree, he's one of the few 'top' championship players we have

27-12-2015, 02:21 PM
Pringles replacement but is he better than Pringle? ;D

27-12-2015, 02:24 PM
What a talent.
Considering he has only played League 1 football previous to joining us he's a star, he can only get better. Feel sure there is even more to come from the lad.

Well done Joe Newell.

Pringle was great for us and a big part in the 2 promotions, but I feel newell is a better all round player

27-12-2015, 03:49 PM
I thought that Pringle was brilliant when we were in Leagues 1 and 2, but I never saw him play as well at this level as Newell did yesterday

Halfway through a season of a two year deal....shouldn't the 'committee' be looking to sit him down with s view to extending his contract or will they leave it til it's too late and he's been tapped up?

Let's see just how good this 'committee' is....

If they have the balls and backing they should also have the nerve to see what it would cost to buy Rawson and Grant Ward..... Another pair we will sadly miss at the end of the season....

28-12-2015, 09:07 AM
I think that both the "committee" and the players need to know whether it's the Championship or League 1 before any long term deals are on or not.
