We sign Shay Facey (defender)

Charlton re-sign Roger Johnson (defender)

Not much happening in signings atm, maybe they are triple checking paper work ;)

Depending on price they can have him.

I bet any money that if we sell JCH we will let him go for peanuts, he's 21 with potential and our top goal scorer, we should be looking for 3 million minimum.

unless JCH does not want to be here then we should be looking at keeping him.

Agree but if worst come to worst then we should be looking at 3 million over

You can't be serious!
We're talking about a player who can't even get a regular starting place in a struggling team.
We'll be lucky to get back what we paid for him.

He's our top goal scorer with 6 goals in quite a poor championship team and i bet he's only played 50% of the matches so far aswel, he's only 21 years old with bags of potential and 10 times the better player when we first got him so he's worth way more than what we got him for which was 400k, with the way the market value is in the championship nowadays we would be stupid to let him go on the cheap.

JCH has the potential but no track record and is still unproven at this level. I reckon if he does go we should be looking, realistically, at a basic 1.25m plus add-ons and a substantial sell-on percentage.

Got to be worth at least a million...but even one million wont get us a good player unless we pay 10 k +a week...appointing redfern tells a story in itself..not knocking neil but everyone knows he develops young players..which takes time...the board know we're snookered..

If JCH,would get his brain into gear, and realize that there is a player in there bursting to get out,he as the potential,to be a top player, someone in the mold of that lad Ighalo at Watford,i think he could be that good, but what i witnessed at Preston, when he came on well,if that was the standard he is setting himself, its more like Woking, that Watford,he will end up playing for.

I can't believe some think JCH is worth 1 million or even more.
Turn this round - if he was at another club and we were interested in him, would you be happy if we offered 1 million plus for a striker who can't even command a regular starting place in a team struggling for goals.
Get real people!

No, but if we spend 1m on a player it will be 3 times more than we have ever spent on a player. 1m is peanuts to most championship clubs especially for a striker and falls in the "worth a punt" category

A Championship club "taking a punt" is more likely to offer 400k - 500k with add ons for number of games played, goals scored etc.
I honestly think anything else is pie in the sky.

There's been no interest in JCH from other clubs.

Good let's carry on building him up here

We took a punt on him for 400k (hardly proven even at Oldham) and apart from Bolton we are far and away the poorest club in the division

Surprised nobody has mentioned the deal that has taken Willie McKay's twin sons to Leeds. Maybe those 'in the know' about Evans' departure weren't actually 'in the know'.
