Yes we sit in west stand near kop and saw it was offside from there so the Lino needs a *******ing for not seeing it

Got it on freeze frame now and Martin is clearly offside….why couldn't the lino see that?

12-03-2016, 05:56 PM
I said at the time I couldn't see how he was not offside but it was down other end

He would most likely have been distracted by VILLAMILLER bobbing up and down waving his scarf and singing New York, New York.

Yes he looked offside...t.oss lino.

Useless officials? Not like us to get lumbered with them is it?

12-03-2016, 06:05 PM
What happened with Trevor Kettle then, he didn't turn up did he?

He's gone off the boil now!!

Saw it on FL...looked onside from their pictures...difficult without freezing it

13-03-2016, 07:33 AM
it was a good yard offside.
annoying thing is if the lino gets it right as he should then they don't get the 3rd goal as well.
all worked out well in the end though!

13-03-2016, 07:42 AM
Well I don't know then but certainly not obvious to me on FL pictures will have a look on

13-03-2016, 07:51 AM
That was a tough decision to make..but looking at it after, i think he was off..

13-03-2016, 08:29 AM
Definitely offside

I sit in West stand 2 right in line with the incident and didn't think he was offside and no 0ne around me said anything either whereas usually they'd be uproar at the slightest hint of a iffy decision.

Can't really tell from the TV pictures either because Martin's not in the frame when Olsson plays the ball.

You can clearly see he is offside on the championship show. He was offside when the player in the middle flicked it on.

13-03-2016, 10:49 AM
Just watched it again and realised I'd missed Hendrick's flick on to a clearly offside Martin. Don't understand how not only myself but the everyone around me didn't kick up a fuss and no one in the opposite stand seemed to be complaining too much either.

Evens things up with the onside goal for Wednesday that wasn't given last week though uhh and it all turned out okay in the end..

On channel 5 show its obvious he's offside unless someone off the screen is playing him on which I doubt. With that plus two defensive errors we should have won 3-0. Lol

What about the deliberate handball in the build up to their 1st goal? In the 'Highlights' video on another thread, you can clearly see it - AND hear the Millers fans screaming 'HANDBALL'!.

Useless feckin' officials ............. AGAIN! >:( >:-( >:( >:-( >:( >:-(

One thing to remember though is that errors by officials can have a minimised effect if the ball is in the oppositions half of the field.

We invite pressure because we give the ball away far too easily, Smallwood for some reason has forgotten how to pass to a team mate only 3 yards away from him. Result the ball is in our box, something happens, the officials cock it up and we give away a goal. Wouldn't matter if the ball is at the other end of the pitch.

Pressure breeds mistakes, as we saw in the last 10 minutes of the match.
