He's contracted with Celtic until 2017 so that's got to be a no

Yes, but he's not been a regular starter. Celtic may want to cash in especially as he's almost 33.

True but how much money we talking?
if there's a younger player out of contract that can do the job just as good or even better for same amount of money then..

Agree. I'm not advocating we sign Commons, or pay a significant sum, I'd rather see a young, year long loan signing from the Premier League, a Grant Ward.

XD I've just remembered we have Dawson who is also an attacking midfielder, maybe he will be given ago

He has a good goal return for Celtic. Though that doesn't say much about the opponents they were scored against. And he scored 32 in the 2013-14 season.

Commons is well past his best. Also I have nil respect for any player who goes to Scotland for an easy time. They all look far better than they really are, for obvious reasons. In Europe Celtic are an embarrassment year after year and as for the rest who turn up in the Europa League...

Personally I don't want our new manager to sign anybody who has a Scottish passport. Let's leave Scotland as it is, a dumping ground for the talentless.

A Scottish passport?

I must have missed their independence.
