Apparently will only sign a new contract if there is a release clause. Joining the England squad has lifted his horizons.
With three PL clubs in for him it's going to be hard to keep him in January. Is 25M enough now??

When it reaches 30 million, Tarkowski and Mee will be playing in a whole new partnership.

I think Chelsea will drop out of the race now anyway,

But 30 million and he has to go I think - we as a club simply can't turn that down.

In his defence if he'll sign an extension and allow us to potentially get more for him - then fair play to the young man.

If we're honest you can't stand in the way of progression so if it's Christmas or the Summer it's happening.

Given the size of our club, I think we at a point where being a selling club could help maintain our level. Would make us a much more appealing to join for a young talent who wants to develop at he highest level. 25-30mil, with some clauses in there and it would be a good thing for everyon.

Michael Keane playing for Burnley until the end of the season will strengthen our chances of not getting relegated back to the Championship.

I want to stay in the Premier League .

What ever the fee is it has to be the right time for us to sell (ie) end of season.
If Liverpool want him,get the cash upfront they've got form for dragging their feet when it comes to paying up.

I love the idea that Manure are devastated at not having a "sell-on" clause. :)

Articles today claiming they have a 20% sell on clause.

I am 100% sure they do not.

I would think this is virtually out of our hands. When some other club decides they want him enough to offer us 30m plus and to triple his wages, then he'll go. All we can do is wait and see, but it does seem to be a case of when, not if.
