Forecast of snow in Rotherham with Rain in Charlton

Mattock will be out, will Warney use the LB Purrington or stick with Ihiekwe?
Towell a doubt

Tough game with Bowyer doing well in his first two games in charge but a Millers win

They serve mighty millers in 1915 bar Rotherham in case you didn’t know

Can’t see purington playing again, think Warney will play ikie at left back.

I’d snatch your hand off for a draw

Imo it’ll be stupid to get rid of Purrington especially if we are in Championship

Yep a point for me would be reasonable as well.

A point would be nice, or more.

But what we really need is a good performance. Football is a confidence game and we need to keep that high as we approach the play offs.

Charlton management really sussed us out in the NYS fixture by having a permanent wide player that stretched our midfield thus leaving gaps to exploit. Hopefully Warne has watched the video of that game and has a plan B.

Donít be silly Grist, he canít fit everything in. 2-0 Charlton unless they get their pride heads on.

At first that fiery little character Ian Bowyer didn't want the Charlton job. Now, after two games (2-0 and 4-0) he definitely does. He's changed how they play and given the players much more freedom to express themselves.

Tomorrow they'll probably have Zyco and Afobe up front whilst Ben Reeves and joint top scorer Fasu in m/f. Two players have returned from international duty and they'll probably be on the bench too (one of them being Magennis). Charlton, I believe, are very confident they'll win the play-offs and Bowyer isn't dampening their fires. The very experienced Johnny Jackson, ex Spurs, is the old head in the team as player/coach and we'll have to be at our very best to even get a point.

But hey, maybe Warne has other ideas and plans to inject some Northern grit and iron into the Cockneys' red faces.

PS. My best mate Steve is remaining ominously silent, other than to say he hopes we meet in the Final and may the best team win.

IF we meet in the final that would be us winning then going by Saturdayís performance.

Proctor/Potter back in the side it couldnít get any better.

I'm sure there's a betamax machine somewhere behind the scenes.

That huge terrace down one side was still there in 1982 when we won 5-1.

Remember that clear as last week. Went down on crutches! Ronnie hat trick wasn't it?

Yes. We didn't arrive until 3:20 ish and ran up a grass bank inside the away end just as we scored our second goal to then get attacked by Charlton fans.
They weren't going to stop us celebrating of course
