We seem to have a nice, cosy working arrangement with Derby, you dump your dross on us, and we'll dump our dross on you.

Vydra is a good player but you have to adapt your style to accommodate him. He is a bit lazy too. Don't think he fits with Lamps system and we need to sell to keep within FFP rules

Vydra is not bad is he? 22 goals last season. O:)

Yes he is a good player but he is a bit of a confidence player and you will have to change your system to suit his style of play

Andre Gray scored 23 for us in the Championship, but was/is way out of his depth in the PL. There are no guarantees.

We have had this conversation before sinkov. I watched him all throughout the Championship winning campaign and he was a joy to behold.

He scored on his EPL debut against the Scousers and then BOOM along came the twitter trouble and he has not been the same player since. I have watched him at Watford and he looks a completely different player. Wot went Wong?

Looks like a good deal(for us) on the face of it,top scorer in champ last season, prefers the 2nd striker role so will play in behind Wood or Vokes competing with Barnes for a place in the team. I think this also means we can safely say we are not persevering with WBA for Jay Rod.
if its a straight swap with Wells rip their arm off we could even throw in a few quid upto 1m and its still a good deal

Looks like it’s happening

Derby would also receive a fee for the Czech Republic international, who saw an 11m move to Leeds United recently fall through.

It is being reported that Wells and Vydra are due to undergo medicals today (Tuesday) but it is unclear if the transfers will be completed before the close of play.

Don't see how this is a fair swap, you get a 22 goal golden boot winner on a permanent while we get a player who can't get in your team and he won't even be our player at the end.........go figure that one out, If Nakhi Wells is to come you need to putting 5 million in is suitcase for us

Stenson looks like there will be some money coming your way
Vydras TM value is 7.2m Nahki is 4m
Derby want 11m, we probably want 6-8 m and 3-5m to change hands depending on who is a good negotiator.

A years loan for Nahki?
Derby County could sign Burnley striker Nahki Wells as part of a deal that will take Rams player of the year Matej Vydra to Turf Moor.

Wells is understood to be in talks with the Rams over a season-long loan move to Pride Park.

It would be a swap deal of sorts, with Vydra closing in on a permanent switch to Burnley.

Confidence imo BT, his first touch has always been poor, but he could get away with it in the Championship. In the PL he couldn't, it caught him out, and as he realised this the confidence drained out of him. As good a theory as any innit ?

Probably a combination of factors sinkov. "Big Time Charlie" syndrome, technique (or rather lack of) found out, the WAG, the media stuff, the FA witch hunt and not playing under the careful auspices of Sean Dyche. Moral of the story, be careful of what you wish for!
