Think yourself lucky you're not a player or fan for this game tomorrow.

According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the bad forecast for Green Bay's game against the 49ers got worse. According to AccuWeather, the high will be minus-five degrees, the low will be minus-20 and the wind chill will be ... MINUS-51 DEGREES.

BTW That's -51F or 83F below freezing (a balmy -45C)

Looking on the bright side the cold weather means there were cheap tickets available as low as $120. The team sponsor even had to buy up the last of the tickets to guarantee a sell out which is needed for the game to be shown on TV.

I got a few snaps from where I worked in the suburbs on Chicago. A good foot and more of snow and the ground, and it's not stopping. Forecast close to that in Milwaukee being fairly close. Monday will be a high of -26c and a low of -28c with a windchill of -45c.

I can see why all the old people went to Florida for the winter.

Crazy how quickly it can go from 35c to -28c in just 3 months. Also heard there has been an ice storm up in the northeast. Wouldn't want to be in that.

I was checking out the forecast for the Bengals against the Chargers earlier and it looks like it'll be about -15C by the end of the game.

I bet the guys who are normally in Southern California will love that.

Talk about home advantage.

I have a friend who is out in Orlando at the moment Sota and he has just messaged me to say its colder than a witches nipple and the temp is expected to go below freezing tonight for the first time ever. Sympathy levels are low all the same.

Yep, it's true Tony, although it's usually a few degrees warmer on the coast so it might be just above freezing here.
Should only last a couple of nights though, then normal service will be resumed, hopefully.

Nevertheless, I'll be covering all the plants up and wrapping the palms as an overnight frost would kill 'em off for sure.
