Moved to winter.
Will that not mess up domestic fixtures?

Would you support a boycott?

Only just read about it, can see all sorts of complications.
It was a bad idea from the start .

I'd like to see the English FA tell FIFA that we'd not be attending as it conflicts with our season.

It was never going to be played in the summer, everybody knew that.

Be interesting to see what happens to our football season, will we have to start early or finish later, taking a break in winter :/

Does anybody not think this could help England, the players should be a lot fresher no excuses regarding fatigue and the only clubs it will affect are the big boys who will just have to do without the bigs for a few weeks

No decision has been yet - according to FIFA. The stuff yesterday was the personal view one of its members.

It is grossly unfair. Everyone puts bids on based on criteria such as timing and now they move the goalposts.

For me it cannot be a big deal because the southern hemisphere have to do it for every world cup. But the way they chose it just sucks.

Not fussed over the timing, plenty of other countries have the World Cup during their mid-season, just the location. An area very difficult to get to, ridiculous prices and laws on alcohol (its a World Cup, people will drink) and the weather conditions.

You've got to wonder what goes through FIFA's heads. Russia 2018 is a bigger farce than Qatar for me.
