Sunderland review

I would have taken a draw before kick off.
The first half hour showed what we can do, a superb display of football. Had we gone in 2 goals up who knows? That said their first was a worthy goal.

Second half saw how much they took from being just one goal behind. We no longer controlled the game but after a while we slowly got into counter attacking and might have nicked it.

Perhaps a draw was right but if we can play for 90 minutes the way we did for the first 30, :D !

Two points dropped. The majority of our 63% possession was either in our own half or in midfield. We often lacked a killer instinct in the final third, and have done so for the majority of the season. Agree the football was nice for the first 30mins, but MP must be frustrated with the result :blue:

Sunderland are a very poor side. I blame Cortese for today :P
