I'm sure most who was on the last Blackpool meet remember Baz.

I have not got all the information yet as we did a live change over on a bus at 10pm last night and he whispered that he badly beat up a passenger from the bus the previous evening, obviously the passenger must have upset him, he said he did it well away from the bus because of the camera's so I guess he must have chased or followed him, I guess the quiet one's are always the worst, or Best B)

Does that mean we should smile and call him Sir when we see him in Torquay?

I know I'll buy him drinks all night for his actions if it was warranted Rammy ;)

Alf that is so infuriating, you sit at a stop waiting for a runner who is a long way from the bus, they get on without even looking at you touch their Oyster and Don't say a word, I generally open the cab door lean out and shout "Your Welcome".

I always make a point of saying good morning when getting on the bus and thank you when alighting.. I was brought up with manners though unlike some of the scum today..

99per cent of our drivers are great including the Stanleys ,but there is the odd one who i could belt if i was 20 years younger.. XD XD

I have hardly caught a bus in the last 30 years. On the buses I used to catch, the driver was separated from the passengers at the front and one used to jump on and off at the open back.

What is it about you London bus drivers? Seems none of you can go out without getting into fights and confrontation?

Its unfortunate that we live in such times Lawrie.

All bus drivers are at the pointy end being as it is working the travelling public face to face, we can be a life saver and your best friend when the bus pulls up in the P!SS!ng rain, but as soon as something upsets "their" space they use the driver as the whipping boy, from ignorant ****age Mums (I use Mums loosely) with buggies thinking the bus is their property, folk just walking straight past you wanting a free ride, 75% looking at you as they board like you're a piece of $hit, not to mention School Children who take after their parents being without manners, rude and generally acting like animals.

Its a cruel world out there and I'd gladly like to exchange it for your desk Lawrie instead of seeing the $hite happening and being in the middle of it every day.

I don't envy you or Baz Alto

I wouldn't last a day with-out losing the plot or having a nervous breakdown

I remember the days of the clippie and recall a clippie giving an abusive drunk a right hander as he "escorted" him off the bus

I was a bit confused as I never saw the build up but I did notice a few delighted smirks of other passengers so assumed the guy deserved it

Dis anyone see the programme on London Buses last week? Showed one guy being kicked with such force he went through the window from top deck of a red double declker. The landed on the pavement with a broken back

You turn a blind eye and pretend to be deaf most of the time Gaz to try and not let it effect you but sometimes in the case of Baz (his reason below) its just too much to take.

I missed all the series on London Transport Gaz but managed to see the same one you did with the guy flying out of the window :O makes you wonder what he did to deserve that as he did not say a lot in the interview in Hospital did he ?

My mate Baz was totally correct in his actions, he picked a group of 6 20 year olds up after 10pm, they just walked on the bus and straight past him without paying, he did the same as I would after 10 in not doing anything as revenue inspectors do not work after 10pm, probably because he did not say anything they started to take the P!ss thinking he was a wimp, they started ringing the bell for every stop, Baz would stop and open the doors and they started to laugh, this happened for about 7 stops then one of them came to the front and started to abuse him by calling him all the
