For anyone interested, I have received an e-mail, from the club, clarifying why they are unable to stream highlights, through the Player, in a format compatible with IPads.

Bottom line is, that Saints, along with around 85 other football clubs, are contracted to Football League Interactive (FLI), to produce their respective websites, and it is THEIR technology that is in need of updating, to allow them to stream highlights and interviews in formats acceptable to all technology.

Saints, along with most other clubs, are aware that they are losing subscribers, as a result of this, and are pressuring FLI to do something about it, which they have said that they are.

Saints have been contracted to FLI since 2009 and will be reassessing, at the end of the season how and where they will show videos., ie Saints Wall , Saints Player or You Tube.

The generic format of the Saints website is dreadful. It's certainly something the new regime needs to address and improve.

If only we had a relationship with an IT based sponsor who could recommend a suitable alternative :P

You can't order tickets online using the iOS system, it's a ridiculous state of play tbf. .
