Not our best but we took our chances. Fair play to Nielsen - he deserves a 'well done' for his saves. - view external link (www.motherwell-mad.co.uk/rprt/mtch/two_first_half_goals_earn_motherwell_the_win_82801 9/index.shtml)

Neilson kept us in it first half 3 goods saves, held the ball instead of spilling or palming into danger areas as previous games...still looks suspect at crosses, but fair play to him tonight he did well. Very poor team performance 2nd half never the less 3 points in the bag thats what counts at the moment SH pass for the first goal was class..

Never thought after the initial 20 mins inverness were going to do anything we got the goals at the right time as seemed to knock stuffing out of them. Not the greatest of performances but nielsen was much better and carswell done ok unfortunately for me hutch has looked out of sorts all season and was very lax last night as lots of stray passes obviously his mind is elsewhere im afraid.

Super for Gunnar when he's been so shaky, hopefully that can give his confidence a boost.

Last night was a game where the performance mattered not a jot - massive win, another big step closer to Europe.

Yep - his mind's AWOL thinking about his move to Greyskull at the end of this season. Think he's been pretty fortunate at FP having had 2 International centre-halves play alongside him, and no doubt talk and coach him on his game.
