Charlton win - the out of London Derby.
Charlton record an excellent win over promotion favourites Derby on Tuesday 29th August to remain unbeaten so far this season.
George Tucudean scored on the 11th minute from a Jordan Cousins cross but Jamie Ward equalised in the 31st minute for Derby with a strike into the top corner.
Charlton re-took the lead on 45 minutes from a Yoni Buyens penalty after Richard Keogh fouled Tucudean. Then on 78 minutes Charlton were leading 3-1 after Vetokele headed in from a Lawrie Wilson cross.
A nervy final 10 minutes followed after Jamie Ward squeezed a goal through Nick Pope's legs but Charlton managed to hold on for a 3 - 2 win and had had chances to win by an even bigger margin. - view external link (http://www.cafc.co.uk/news/article/20140819-peeters-reaction-1839537.aspx)
