Easily the best performance of the season so far and unlucky to lose last night.
Highlights were the performances of Adelakun, McSheffrey, Bishop and Addison although nobody had a stinker.
Adelakun will surely keep his place after frightening the Reading back line to death with his pace. If only he could keep his brain active when we haven't got the ball he would be outstanding. He still often forgets to tuck in and back up his full back when we lose possession and this will cost us goals over the season. He's also guilty with Hawkridge and Nolan of sloppy passing in dangerous areas. Madden suffered the same problem but at least in the opposition half. But in a midfield so bereft of pace and forward thinking you cannot really make a case for leaving Adelakun out now.
McSheffrey was excellent playing in the hole behind Madden and hopefully we will see this again.
With Burton now out for a couple of months it looks like another forward might be brought in. The downside to bringing i
