Charlton returned to winning ways after defeat to Bournemouth with a win against Bolton.
George Tucudean scored the first goal on 28 minutes. Then Johnnie Jackson, Captain Fantastic scored the winner on 51 minutes when when Tucudean squared a pass for him to slot home.
Bolton, under their new Manager Neil Lennon, were very much in the game in the 2nd half and Dean Moxey pulled a goal back for the trotters with a low drive from the edge of the area on 54 minutes. Ex Addick Dorian Dervite also went close for Bolton with a header but Charlton were able to hold on for the win.
