Letting your heart control your predictions by forecasting Donny wins is a dangerous strategy.

Let's face it, since Dickov walked in the door at the Keepmoat :-

. after 15 games last season we were 18th and had won only 4 and went on to lose 24 and go down.
. after 15 games this season we are 17th and have won only 5 games. We have not had back-back league wins yet, and yet back-back league losses twice.

So it doesn't take a great poker player to see that the chances are we will lose far more games than we will win and you will get more points in the syndicate betting on a 1-0 loss in every game (and getting 6 points for a correct result) than predicting any wins or draws.

If Dickov ever goes we might be able to spread the betting around a bit more.

Without a win we would have been just one point off the drop zone so a win is a major triumph at this stage. At least we have a little breathing space.

It only took Matt Done 7 mins to put us behind, and if he had not been sent off I suspect my 2-1 prediction for a Rochdale win would have been right. It took us over 30 mins against a 10-man Rochdale team before we could score, which proves what a resilient side they were. I don't think for one second we would have that scoreline without the sending off. Even you didn't expect a win.

The egg smudge was soon removed and if we can play against 10 men at Crewe and Barnsley we should pick up a few more points. LOL.
