A disappointing draw for the Addicks at home with several players playing out of position.
Chris Eagles opened the scoring for Blackpool on 25 minutes after converting Nyron Nosworthy's header. Charlton then equalised in the first half on 38 minutes with a Yoni Buyens penalty after Peter Clarke fouled Igor Vetokele in the Blackpool box. Buyens then sent Blackpool GK Lewis the wrong way to make it 1-1 at half time.
In the second half the Addicks took the lead when Jordan Cousins was afforded some space outside the area and curled a shot into the bottom corner, scoring his second goal of the season on 55 minutes.
But the Addicks couldn't hold onto the lead and improving Blackpool had the final say when Steven Davies headed into an open net from a set piece to score the equaliser on 89 minutes. In what felt more like a defeat than a draw, Andre Bikey blazed a late chance over the bar when in an unmissable position to score but score he didn't.
