Must admit l'm addicted to making the stuff not really a big drinker either but love to create great tasting wines with a little outlay in the beginning and with an unending supply of choice.

At the moment I have pineapple , chardonnay and a dessert wine on the go with a wine stock of 150 or so bottles made...anyone else ?

Recipes welcomed ;D

DAD.

I hope you are well.

I don't have any recipes for you, but can I ask how hard is it to set up, and rough cost?

So how long would a batch take?

is there a minimum time frame before you drink?

Best to start with a wine kit before moving on to real fruit so kits come in 6 or 30 bottle size and some take longer than others if your in a real rush some kits say ready to drink in 7 days :O but I would say 2 weeks for a rush drinker.

Not done the wine but I have the beer and I must say it's a great thing to do, you get a real kick out of pouring yourself a pint from your own brew and it's very strong :)

I knew those bloody Chickens would eventually drive you to drink :D

I've tried a few home brews of wines and spirits over the years but most of them have been abysmal. Home brewers because they've made it with their own sweat think it's good. It's not. We're being polite. :P

Anyway, where has AV got to this time? Toooo much taste testing the pineapple wine he was creating especially for Oz?

He's vanished again. Hence the windsock. He blows in and blows out.

You're lurking aren't you, AV. I know you are. Sipping you're wine and nibbling cheese and crackers. ;D

Ahh. I wondered where the Windsock came from. I didn't like to ask. :D

AV, are you going to keep that homemade wine, and your cheese and crackers all to yourself? Or are you going to come over here and share with the rest of us. We're feeling a little peckish over here. ;D :D
