Another good home win for Charlton although not the 3-0 clean sheet wins we have become accustomed to, perhaps we're now expecting too much but any win is a good win.

Charlton came from behind in this one after Pavel Pogrebnyak put Reading ahead on 40 minutes firing into the bottom corner from a Jordan Obita left-wing cross.

Charlton upped their game in the 2nd half after an inspiring pep talk from Guy Luzon and levelled the score after Hector hand balled in the box following pressure from Watt. Buyens stepped up to take his seventh penalty of the season and reliably scored.

Charlton went ahead on 70 minutes after an accurate cross from right-back Gomez enabled Buyens to score the second of his brace.

The third and winning goal arrived on 80 minutes and all credit to Simon Church, now two goals in two games, who tapped the ball in; Watt being the architect of the cross from a flowing move down the right flank where he managed to bypass two defenders.

Reading did pull a goal back
