Charlton slump to an all familiar defeat at the hands of Preston North End and the Brentford game now becomes a crucial fixture for Guy Luzon's survival but it would help if the players actually turned up and skipper JJ was brought on rather late in the day to influence events this time.
Preston's goals were scored by Gallagher on 2 and 36 minutes and Johnson on 62 minutes.
Charlton players: Pope, Solly, Diarra, Sarr, Fox, Bergdich (McAleny 46), Ba (Jackson 62), Cousins, Holmes-Dennis, Watt, Ahearne-Grant (Makienok 62).
