This time an away defeat to PNE although Charlton did manage to equalise to keep the scores level at half time, some small consolation for the away fans, but not the end result.
Garner scored first for Preston on 35 minutes followed by a quick reply from JBG on 37 minutes. Lennon was sent off on 74 minutes for an impetulant kick on Garner and Preston's 2nd goal came c/o Robinson on 52 minutes, his first Championship goal for Preston this season. Charlton remain rooted to the bottom of the Championship table.
