I have to admit to not posting on the main topic as I like the off topic one much better .

I know some of the fairly new argumentative posters also contributed to his departure..
Would be good to see him back.

I think a lot of posters could learn from the excellent example set by me. I've spent my entire professional career on here, without so much as a booking. Like the Gary Lineker of Aberdeen Mad.

There's been disciplinary issues with Pikey Mad, Ham & Eggs Mad & Bigot Mad but my record here is unblemished. He's never actually said it but I think Ed feels that I should be free to post what I like.

Sardinia was superb. Far too much wine was consumed for a cycling holiday tho..
Started off in Frankfurt after we left you. 14 hour binge before a 70 mile cycle in 37Deg heat..

But Jim was harmless enough and a good laugh even drunk.
I liked him I hope he comes back .. I'm sure he was in his 60s .
