Anyone shed any light on what I heard last night?

You are being enigmatic again :-D
Please elucidate.

Don't like the dark blue colour, but I think it is big, brash and powerful.

No, not being enigmatic XD

Did not go the match last night but someone said to me about the new stand name...just wondering what it is all about.

Anything to do with Whitby Morrison?

100% right. Their names are to the left and right. It's hardly subtle, but then this is Gresty Road ...

And you missed a pretty good game.

Yep, it's the Ice Cream Van stand. Saw it and had a little giggle, first thing I thought was 'bloody hell, can tell we're playing in league 1 now, ice cream van stand!'

re: 'The Ice Cream Van Stand'

Well, it could always have become the Horlicks stand, so we must be thankful for small mercies.

I knew nothing about W. & M., and googled them, and TBH the firm is something for Crewe to be quietly proud of. Are they allowed to call their conversions the Rolls Royces of ice-cream vans, or would this lead to a lawsuit? No doubt the sponsorship is to celebrate their fiftieth anniversary.

With their expertise in choosing interesting tracks for van chimes, can we look forward to a radical tweak of the PA system?
