boristheblueWhilst waiting to pay £13 for my Young Adult ticket, a man approached the queue claiming that he had been given a ticket for the stand, so was selling his Paddock ticket for £10. A few people in the queue, myself and a friend included, thought it was a good deal so offered money. The man came to me and swapped my tenner for a match ticket. It wasn't until about 30 seconds later that I realised the ticket was used for the Carlisle - Brentford game and I'd been conned. I know I shouldn't have fell for it and I should have checked to make sure it was a genuine ticket for the Yeovil match, but I just never expected something like that to happen outside Brunton Park on a Saturday afternoon. I'd expect it maybe outside a club at 1am or a sold-out concert, but not a Carlisle game! Just putting this out there to warn people for the future. The man was middle-aged, around 40 probably, about 5 foot 10, wore quite a smart jacket with a buttoned up shirt underneath and had greying hair - just in case anyone on here might have any idea. And also, if by any chance this man browses through the message board, I'd just like to let you know that you stole £10 from a teenager who just wanted to go to the match. The fact that you went through that trouble to steal £10 sums up how pathetic the life you lead is. I hope you're proud of yourself, you terrible c*nt. 25 March 2013 21:41 Started on 'Cumbrian Crack' forum
