Would it be the worst thing? Or even a bad thing?The list is lengthy of teams that have gone down and come back much stronger for having done so. Even Charlton seem to have finally got their act together. My only fear is that teams like Norwich have a different kind of population base and Premier League footie is not far away for people to see for Coventry area kids. But that's true now whether CCFC is at the foot of the Championship or in League 1. I know the immediate reaction is one of horror at the thought, but I think with Andy Thorn at the helm he could be the right guy to have a clear out, reorganize, and get it right if we were to drop. To be honest, that record of being in the Championship the longest only really means one thing: Right now we are one of the most boring teams in professional football. |
