I used to cringe watching Barry give interviews, at least Bomber can look into the camera, he can also be a right belter when he opens his mouth and lets his belly rumble.
He is right about the ref, but you can't say what he said to the press and get away with it, especially when there is a rule specifically to prevent this. The SFA really needs to grow up in this respect.
Opinions are opinions, the point of open fora are for individuals to express those opinions, shooting down / name calling /abusing someone for having a different point of view reflects poorly on both the poster and his argument.
Bombers appointment has been divisive, I didn't like the manner in which it was done and I'll still criticise the BoD/CEO for that, but we ALL need to move on a little.
Next step is the return to the first division (Hearts admin won't save us), where I am actually of the opinion that Bombers way might be the way forward, we have lacked that little bit of steel in the past.
I do however, reserve the right to criticise any DFC employee when they make stupid statements to the press without thought to the repercussions. 10 May 2013 12:08 Started on 'Dees Banter' forum
