replied to Still no vote of confidence ===================================== GAEL Bigirimana and Adam Campbell have been named in England’s provisional squad for the Under-20 World Cup. Peter Taylor has named a 35-man party featuring both Newcastle United players, plus Middlesbrough’s Connor Ripley, Adam Reach and Luke Williams. There are no Sunderland players included. Burundi-born Bigirimana has never played for England before. He enjoyed an impressive first half of the season after joining from Coventry City but has figured very little since January. The squad will be trimmed to 21 on June 7. The tournament runs from June 21-July 13. SQUAD: Jamal Blackman (Chelsea), Sam Johnstone (Manchester United), George Long (Sheffield United), Connor Ripley (Middlesbrough); Jake Bidwell (Everton), Sam Byram (Leeds United), Donervorn Daniels (West Bromwich Albion), Eric Dier (Sporting Lisbon), Jon Flanagan (Liverpool), Luke Garbutt (Everton), Michael Keane (Manchester United), Jamaal Lascelles (Nottingham Forest), Liam Moore (Leicester City), Daniel Potts (West Ham United), Adam Reach (Middlesbrough), Jack Robinson (Liverpool), John Stones (Everton), Tom Thorpe (Manchester United); Ross Barkley (Everton), Gael Bigirimana (Newcastle United), Jake Caskey (Brighton & Hove Albion), Conor Coady (Liverpool), Larnell Cole (Manchester United), John Lundstram (Everton), Alex Pritchard (Tottenham Hotspur), James Ward-Prowse (Southampton); Patrick Bamford (Chelsea), Saido Berahino (West Bromwich Albion), Adam Campbell (Newcastle United), Max Clayton (Crewe Alexandra), Rob Hall (West Ham United), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), Chris Long (Everton), Nathan Redmond (Birmingham City), Luke Williams (Middlesbrough). 18 May 2013 09:37 Started on 'DAN'S DOMAIN' forum

replied to PLEASE VOTE - NUFC PLAYER OF THE SEASON replied to Pardew staying, Simpson gone, Shola 50/50 replied to Part of me hopes Arsenal hammer us ... ------------------ Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy was today arrested on suspicion of rape, along with two other men. The trio were being held in custody this afternoon, a week after a 34 year-old woman reported them for allegedly raping her in west London. A police statement read: "Officers from Sapphire are investigating an allegation of rape which happened on 6 May in the west London area. "The allegation was passed on to the MPS by Kent Police on 8 May after the 34-year-old female victim reported it to them on the previous day, 7 May. The victim alleges she was raped by three men. "On the morning of Wednesday, 15 May three men, aged 26, 23 and 22 yrs, were arrested at an address in Fulham on suspicion of rape - they remain in custody at a west London police station." Remy joined QPR in January from Marseille for £8 million but was unable to help the team avoid relegation from the Premier League. He is expected to leave the west London club this summer, with top clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool reported to be interested in signing him. 15 May 2013 13:26 Started on 'DAN'S DOMAIN' forum

But he has surprised everybody with his progress and Alan Pardew believes he is now physically and mentally ready to return to action. And, with Newcastle needing to claw back a 3-1 aggregate scoreline against Benfica on Thursday night, the maverick number ten could have a crucial role to play at St. James' Park - more than likely from the bench. "Hatem has made an unbelievable recovery," Pardew said. "He will be involved tomorrow and I'm sure if he's needed he will be somebody that can turn the game. "(Cheick) Tiote and (Mathieu) Debuchy - who's obviously unavailable - are both going to be training tomorrow, which is good news for us. "For this game, Hatem is available. Steven Taylor's got a knock this morning so he's a doubt for the game tomorrow, which is a bit of a shame. "Other than that, everybody else is available. Colo (Fabricio Coloccini) I would say is looking at West Brom in terms of our fixture list - he has perhaps a small chance of that game - but we're almost there. "We're not far away but tomorrow night is probably just too soon for a couple of the key hitters." 10 April 2013 17:45 Started on 'DAN'S DOMAIN' forum
