Aye but his pal told me, it's better to be told twice as not at all There will always be duplicate threads but it is worth remembering that stories/threads originated by customers do not appear as articles and don't go into our archive as the message board is cleared out periodically. All articles on the Home Page provide a lasting archive for the club and can be viewed in years to come. As my son used to say when he was a tiny wee boy, "I was just only joking." I'd never really set myself up in opposition to a pillar of Palmerston like Lord P. |

not a good thing losing Mark Robertson's business skills and as for Mark Blount, i know nothing about the man so time will tell, 1 thing further to Mr R's resignation, will the " i'm not going back to Palmerston while he's still there brigade" now return sooner rather than later? |

An excellent appointment by the BOD's at Palmerston . Mark like his father is a very shrewd and successful local businessman . He's also a very popular and an easy approachable person .I'm happy to have him on board . |

no disrespect to mr robertson who was brought in by the chairman to put cost cutting measures in place and, in general, has succeeded but mark blount is a life - long real queens fan and this should, hopefully, encourage the '' stayaways '' to eventually return to palmy. |

The Blount family have always supported Queens over the years and I'm very happy Mark is now a Director .It was his fathers hard work that saw the building of the new stand at Palmerston . Roberston had a job to do & leaves with my best wishes . Didn't agree with some of his decisions but its now time for everyone to move on . The futures bright , the futures Queens  |

We now have 3 pretty young Directors on the Board and a great young squad who we can hopefully keep intact.Good luck Mark. |
