Even Bassett Was allowed to reinvest from his wheeling and dealing, the last time we were down in the 3rd tier, he off loaded Beagrie and Kuhl on the way down, he brought in Agana & Hetherston, then when we went down Colin Morris left and at the beginning of the season he brought in Brian Deane etc, the rest is history.

Wilson or any manager out there doesn't stand a chance while we sell, sell, sell and then don't reinvest any of the money, loans and free transfers are not good enough.

McCabe stated one of the reason we went down was due to too many loans.

People in the car park I'm afraid when Wilson was appointed you may have been right to demonstrate, now 8 points off the top 2 and the top team who are managed by a guy who was not deemed good enough for Rotherham. Blades legends v Brampton old boys This game has now been arranged for February 3rd.

Sheffield United legends versus...Brampton Dynamos old boys.

This is taking place at Sheffield FC at 12.00 KO admission is £5.

Blades side will include the likes of Brian Deane, Bobby Davison, Glynn Hodges, Carl Bradshaw, Peter Duffield, Jamie Hoyland and many more.

Why are they playing Brampton? Because they were managed as juniors by a very popular blade Dave Middleton aka yellowman, who as you may or not be aware is terminally ill with cancer.

Proceeds from the game will go to Weston Park, Macmillan and Rotherham hospice.
