No complaints with that report, bloodred, the stand is a disgrace. When they get around to doing it they should involve the corner between it and the Ponty. The stands should be renamed in accordance with true Barnsley legends as well! |

Yeh but my gripe is thus, what has a ginger tom & the state of our west stand got to do with Saturdays performance. It's just another poke at Barnsley, Why bring attention to our crumbling stand whilst telling us all how marvelous the richo(or whatever they call it) stadium is?

for all your info the cat is actually owned by barnsley fc, the majority of the time it stays in that stand mainly to scare mice away. |

There's always been a club cat - to have a go at Toby.
I remember a white one from only a couple of seasons ago called Snowy.
Don't see a problem with having a club cat - helps to keep vermin at bay (inclg fowls and blunts). |

Can anybody remember the old man who used to sit with his dog on the top of the away end before it was developed? He used to sit on his own at every home game. What became of him? |

Of course it was a **** take. If Barnsley played their home games at Wembley most reporters would talk like this using the Barnsley stereotype to entertain their readers and in this case pad out a match report to make it a supposedly amusing article. |

Reading this article mad my blood boil!!!
For a club our size with our finances I think we have a stadium to be proud of!!!
There is no denying that the west stand needs renovating to be brought upto date with the rest of he ground but as a whole Oakwell is much better than many grounds in the Championship and in my opinion some in the Premierships (Turf Moor, Ewood Park?).
All that $hit about the ginger Tom, get a life mate...how much of the game did you actually watch that your report is dominated by the presence of a cat in the press room after the game?
Finally, as bloodred says, what the fu(k does all this have to do with the game?
This guy is just a loser hack who dreams of writing for the Daily Sport one day.

Actually I cant find any fault in his match report.
Its just his typical sickening reporters way of making Oakwell out to be a crappy stadium, and saying how wonderful and glorious the Rico Arena is. |

come on chaps, where's the barnsley sense of humour?? I thought it was quite amusing so why get all heated about a poxy report? there's not many stands in the country where we can say our grandad sat there now is there? yes its old, figgin ancient, yes its run down, dropping to bits in places and yes the cat might have fleas....but its got character and its OURS! |

The most objectionable part of the excuse for a match report was the reference to an 'horrific collision' between Hume and the thug. He's brave enough to ridicule Barnsley but hasn't the b*lls to say anything that might upset Morgan and SU. |

If this bloke had really watched the match, he'd have realised that the broken glass on top of the wall is not there to stop people getting in, it's there to stop us from escaping at half-time (where's Steve McQueen and his motorbike when you really need him, eh?). |
