O/T Bad losers
Fergie and the goofy drug cheat were both appalling in defeat last night. Running up to he fourth official swearing and ranting. Ferdinand clapping in the face of the Ref. After the game Fergie didn't speak to the press.

How pathetic and a great example to set to all watching.

Football, full of cheats and bad losers. Just sad :blue:

Ferdinand made me loff.
After howling abuse and clapping in the refs face. He then went and shook his hand. :(

What goes around comes around.
How many teams over the years have gone to Old Trafford and had questionable decisions go against them or games played into extended Fergie time util the mancs had got the goal/goals they needed?
I dont wish to be upatriotic and it was a questionable sending off, although you can understand why the ref gave it, but I dont feel outraged or sympathetic in the least.

Ultimatley they were beaten by a better team and no blame and Fergie outrage will change the fact.

I bet the Home Counties and a tiny part of Salford will be grizzeling into their porridge this morning. Shame. As I say, what goes around comes around.

Really cannot stand United so it's nice to see ref decisions go against them for once. Although no doubt the EPL refs will do their utmost to make sure United win the league now.

Shocking scenes from a supposed top manager and players. No action will be taken against them though of course.

I remember when it was a sport. :blue:

Mourinho behaved impeccably.

Fergie's behaviour this season as been shall we say eccentric to say the least.
He as been telling refs and linesman how to do their job and coming out with bizzare comments.
Utd have refs in their back pocket and get all the important decisions and Fergie lost it because a foreign ref is not in the loop.

As I have already stated on the post 'Corrupt Officials' it is about time that the 'powers that be' took action regarding Alex Ferguson. He is completely out of hand. I am fed up with his petulant actions, his one-eyed views on incidents during a game and the complete disregard and disdain he shows for authority.

The problem is, is that for some reason, why I don't know, nobody in authority appears to stand up to him and to punish him in an appropriate manner. Until this happens he will continue in this abhorant way. Come on, get tough with him and treat him like anyone else. Just because he has been knighted, which is an insult to the position, he is treating football with utter contempt.

You would never see Sir Matt Busby behaving in that manner.

Looking at the state of Fergie with his purple face about ready to explode made me think that howver much he gets paid it can't be good for you at his age.

And to think...whilst at Aberdeen he nearly became Wolves manager once but thought better of it :D

It wouldn't surprise me if he died in harness like his mentor Jock Stein.

I have a football book from the eighties, and there is a picture in it of Stein clutching his heart and collapsing in the game against wales, with Fergie behind him looking on in horror.

A bit in bad taste if you ask me that picture.
