aberdonians see life as one big money grab, some of us are the more sensitive souls who see life more of an existential quest :(

Lead the way? Like you did in your City of Culture bid?

I actually quite like Aberdeen but I wouldn't want to live there, I suppose if I was offered loads of money to work in the oil industry I would reconsider.

If you sold a 1 bed room flat in Aberdeen you could buy Glasgow.

Probably.

Seriously though, house price inflation is not a good thing. Eventually folk with just a normal job will not be able to afford a house in Aberdeen.

What a shame Union Street is a midden. And King Street. And Market Street. Actually the whole city centre is on its knees and no one is doing anything about it. The proposals for the development of the Capitol and the Triple Kirks sums up the city...

I was up in Aberdeen at the weekend.

WTF has happened to that city ? , it is a disaster mess :blue:

Quite enjoyed my occasional visits in the past however it has gone massively downhill. Union Street is a *****hole, empty business premises everywhere. The roads are disintegrating throughout the entire city, traffic flow is a nightmare. Sad to see the granite city in this state.

You could certainly buy Rangers.
