You know, getting up and heading out to begin cup final day, getting all excited, pre-match, off to the stadium, the match itself, what you did afterwards etc. I'd like to read it.

Seems like he's been chucked a piece of rope here though. Reckon Guardiola regrets committing to Bayern now? Hard to see how he can improve them. They've won the league by a million points, pumped Barca 7-0 and will probably win the European Cup this month, after a run of 3 finals in 4 years. Where can Guardiola take them except down? Maybe if he'd known the United job was coming up, he might have held on. More scope for improvement, more scope to build his own success. 09 May 2013 08:35 Started on 'ScottishFitba Messageboard' forum

replied to Best goals you have seen at a game. replied to Since it's derby week replied to Di *****ios Sunderland Indeed, just over the road at Tannadice Gordon Chisholm did just the same thing a few years ago. He even managed to keep United up and get them into Europe via a cup final appearance. United, mistakenly, took this for evidence he was right for the job long term and made him permanent manager. He was guff. There's nothing in Brown's experience to show that he's got what it takes to be a long-term manager. He's had a good run, sure. Based on getting a doomed bunch of players right up for every match. He's also indulged in some of the most cringe-worthy 'mind games' ever seen in senior football and has never done anything to show that he has what it takes to get Dundee back out of the first division (or whatever it's called next season). Can't help but think Dundee have fallen for the old knee-jerk trick of giving the job to a guy on the basis of a run of a few games. If I was a Dundee fan, I'd have rather the club waited till the summer and made a more considered choice. 07 May 2013 05:20 Started on 'ScottishFitba Messageboard' forum |
