chris balderstone

i know chris was a brilliant footballer and cricketer but i didnt realise he was the only man ever to play in a first class county game and play in a football league game in the same day,,,what a man ,and some of englands superstars say they are too tired toplay,,,didnt chris play for your club that day?
my mates laughed at me when in my own opinion i,d rather have had chris in my team before beckham anytime,,chris could play anywhere,he used to reming me of the late great duncan edwards.

Chris was the only Rovers player to have gained a full English cap while on the Rovers books, pity the cap was for cricket!!
