Very sad news a true legend condolences to family and friends rest in peace
THE Queens legend who will be sorely missed by all. A sad day indeed.
So sad to hear of Ball's passing. He really was a true club legend. RIP
I saw his first game against Falkirk, and many more including 2-2 at Ayr in the cup, when he saved a penalty in the dying minutes, to the delight of a huge travelling support. A legend and a gentleman, who would probably been capped for Scotland, if he,d been born Scottish. You have been a credit to Dumfries. Thanks for the memories. Rest in peace Alan. Condolences to the family.
Very sad news. QOS legend and an absolute gentleman. RIP Bally.
True gentleman. We will all be proud of Alan Ball and everything he has done for us . Always had time to speak to the fans , especially to a nervous 10 year old at the Locharbriggs Gala ( me) who he made his day . Latterly , I bumped into him at the Barracuda Club when taking my daughter to swimming lessons . Conversation was always Queens of course. A sad day , Alan Ball is the best known player who has and who ever will play for Queens . Legend doesn't do him justice.
I was also at every game he played for Gretna, a true hero indeed!
What about a minute of applause for Alan Ball at the next home game or one that suits ?
