Yeh money, but to be honest it'sstill got the original name and will always be known as such, won't it?
What a hideous corruption of a historic stadium name 😕
There have been some bad names over the years including the KitKat Stadium, the Wham Stadium and the One Call Stadium. Chesterfield's had a pretty naff name as well for a while, something to do with technology I think.
Some clubs have no shame when it comes to getting a bit of extra money in.
Well they have avoided relegation a trillion times in the last 5 years, so its quite appropriate actually. ;)
'Keep right on', and all that Brummy garbage!!.
Trillion Trophy Asia is a Hong Kong-based sports holding company that currently controls Birmingham City F.C.
I googled
So what about The AESSEAL New York Stadium? At least in Birminghams case St Andrews comes before the sponsors name.
To Rotherham fans it's simply the New York Stadium, and to Birmingham fans St Andrews will remain St Andrews.
