Football Leaks claims Euro Super League talks held by clubs
Article on BBC - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46078651 - and in most of the papers.
Basically it's the "top" clubs - Real Madrid AC Milan, Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Manchester United all discussing a new Euro Super League behind UEFA's back. Leaks claim they'd withdraw from their Football Associations etc.
"The so-called founders, who would include the seven clubs named above along with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Paris St-Germain, would not face relegation and would be guaranteed membership for 20 years." They'd also have guest teams etc.
Whether this happens or not, i think we're getting closer to a Euro Super League and getting to the point where it won't matter what UEFA etc. say as the clubs will be to financially powerful.
If when it does happen, i can imagine it ripping the money out of CL and Prem, which could have some knock on effects for the clubs that rely on the TV money.
