Happy day
Not a sensational performance but strong and consistent (aside from the now usual 75-minute wobble) against a very organised and disciplined St Mirren. Exactly the sort of performance we didn't have last season in losing the exact same game 0-1...
More thoughtful reflection will come from Robbo - or rather it won't, he'll say what he always say - but barring an upset tomorrow the numbers speak for themselves. Four clear of third, eight clear of seventh and 11 clear of the bottom two. Is this officially a great start? Everyone has earned a beer tonight, other than Gallagher, who could be advised to hold off...

Good result given how long it’s been since St.Mirren have been beaten by 2.
Still feeling the loss to Ross — the next string of games will be much more challenging: Aberdeen, Rangers, Kilmarnock, Livingston, Celtic. 6 points from 15 off that lot might be over optimistic.

Five would be an acceptable return, I'd take six very happily, more and there will be a hint of (premature) excitement in the air!

A decent performancer against against a well drilled defensive team. It was crucial to get that first goal as it persuaded a reluctant St Mirren side to come out of their defensive shell. Two lovely goals to boot.
