QPR Post Match Thoughts
Another great Saturday for RUFC and this time we were even playing! Now 8 points clear of the relegation zone. Nice to see Jordan Hugill finally open his account. A nervy 10 minutes after they pulled a goal back but it was never in doubt was it? Losing a couple of recent 'stand outs' from the starting lineup was a worry when the team was announced but has MT built a squad capable of overcoming these setbacks?
Thoughts?

Couldn't make it today but awesome result.
Mind the gap

The clowns will be quiet this evening.
Really good performance, feared we would bottle it and default to being poor against other poor sides but credit to all involved, we looked much more comfortable on the ball today, better than our league position says we are.
As for QPR, they might well be in league one next season. Usual antu-football from Mr Ainsworth.

Without Captain Basil I was worried but needn't have been. Great team performance from the millers throughout and what a boost for Hugill who seems to have all the makings of a cult striker. Didnt really see any poor performances but great stuff from Viking, Jordan, Odaffin, Chio, Videostar, Coventry and Fosu. Defence a bit wobbly in the first half but pulled together well and unlucky to concede.
8 points clear with only 10 or so games left. We're looking in a very good position but as said in the other thread, we'll likely need that for April.
Well done everyone at the club. Great, great stuff

Enjoyable game after a slow start. No more "oh no" comments when the substitutes are made because everyone is playing for the team these days and the results are coming. Nice to see us up to 18th in the table and a gap appearing above the bottom three. It would be a shame to lose three "northern" teams from the Championship though. Great result and I'm pleased for the Manager and everyone connected to the club. On a personal note I had £2 on a 3-1 win @ 22/1

That was a great result against the anti-football team, how Ainsworth gets any plaudits is beyond me, clapping and cheering when a centre half puts the ball so high the camera can't follow it, those QPR fans wont be singing his name for long.
On to the millers, wonderful especially at the back and the midfield, Hugil was outstanding and Ogbene is up for the fight. Odoffin was immence as well, Fosu is class and Coventry is a play maker like Dan but he holds that midfield together. A comment on Harding, we look so much better going forward when Peltier doesn't play right back, harding is a lot more positive. He has a silly mistake in him though, against Reading he cost us the winning goal and again today, that tackle was pointless, the lad had run it out. kelly and Washington did well and Linsay is a steady player, great to see Kioso come on as well. An excellent result and performance well done millers. 40 points and 18th on 4th march, 11 games to go

Brilliant result and everyone played their part. Georgie made the third goal, not with his shot but his great enthusiastic tackle earlier. Inspired substitution.
