Queens really need to win this match, - because we can't rely on Falkirk doing us any favours when they play Alloa. Who would Falkirk rather face in the play-offs, - Alloa or a resurgent QOS?
Although it would be 'nice' from Dunfermline's perspective to win the league on Saturday, - they know the championship is in the bag, - so they wont be coming at us at 100%. Equally, - Falkirk don't need to burst a gut either, - because they know they are in the play -offs, - and they need to save themselves for 4 back to back matches.
Unfortunately, - Queens need to win every remaining match to have a chance of the play -offs, - and then, - if they squeeze into 4th spot they will face Airdrie back to back, - followed by Falkirk back to back (if they progress) - followed by yet another double header!
Relatively speaking, Dunfermline away on Saturday is 'fairly easy!'
What a crazy position they've got themselves in, - but far better to have a chance than absolutely none at all.
