Agree. Keeping as a target, but as the OF learned years ago, don't sign expensive players in the hope you can get past Christmas. Only invest what you have already won, in any attempt to go further in a competition.
It's not like the old days where it cost you money.

This money should be given to lower league clubs as without them the progression of players starting their football career at these clubs will end.
Young players cannot be sent out on loan to lower league clubs if they do not exist.
