While I am a firm religious non-believer (we are born - we die) one should not show disrespect for other peoples beliefs. The offering of sympathy, in whatever manner, should be received gracefully.

The Leicester owner was by all accounts one of the good guys, and what’s happened is terrible. I’m glad Notts put out a message, but offering “prayers” sounds to me glib and insincere. Who’ll be praying, and what will they be praying for?
