I see that you are now of the age where vegetable beds come to you rather than you go to them ;D
A veritable Shangri La!
(ie. a permanently happy land, isolated from the outside world... the people who live at Shangri-La are almost immortal, living years beyond the normal lifespan and only very slowly aging in appearance. The word also evokes the imagery of exoticism of the Orient. Just thought I'd include this in case the allusion passed you by. Wouldn't want you to miss this rare and much-sought-after compliment :D )
Thanks for sharing this.
It's said you can tell a lot about a man from the way he tends his plot. Such military precision; so many straight lines; meticulously placed plant labels; two identical watering cans artistically placed together; immaculately laid patio; newly renovated palace, fence posts exactly at 90 degrees, geometrically precise raised beds etc etc. All most impressive and enviable.
Hope the caring link below helps...

Yep the old OCD is bad at the mo.
So bad in fact Mrs Corky said she's leaving me because she can't handle it.
I told her to close the door five times on her way out.
Ah the old jokes are the best! :DQuote:

And both bloody lovely.
A Welsh Brassica Shangri-La

"On a lonely, windswept Welsh hillside, surrounded only by mountain goats and bracken is this idiosynchratic testament to one man's arboricultural unorthodoxy. Forget daffodils and geraniums. Where these should be this elusive green-fingered genius has planted January Kings and Savoys. And not a leatherjacket or cabbage white in sight. We were unable to track down the creator of this Gaelic fantasy as he assumes many aliases and often goes missing for months. His assistant Bargearse was also unavailable for comment."
