The whole idea of the passing at the back is to bring teams on top so you can get in behind them. The problem we have is the players qos have at the moment are quite simply either not consistent or good enough, I can’t decide one way or the either, however I for one see what the manager is trying to do, but like spike said this style is for the likes of Man City and the likes, and imo spike is right.
Do I agree with his tactics, personally I don’t. We have two flying wingers on each side of the pitch and we should be getting the ball to them quicker. That’s my opinion but I wouldn’t expect the manager to take up my opinions, like some on here. It’s his decisions and he will sink or swim by then. That’s the job of management
