Considine Taylor pairing at the 0:3 last time around.....
I'm pretty sure McInnes was going to bring a versatile defender in on loan anyway, and I would be very surprised if that player doesn't arrive before Thursday now that there's a possibility McKenna might be off. Is there a signing deadline for Thursdays game?
McKenna is obviously trying to force through a deal in this window and I'd imagine he must have a particular club in mind, so I presume that personal terms are in place already and he's handed in the request to force the club to accept an offer. If so, he could potentially still travel and play and the deal could go through late Thurs evening? If however his request alerts other clubs and there's more interest it could really mess his head up going into a game. Either way it's far from ideal.
Do loan deals have to be for 6 or 12 months? i.e. could he sign for someone down south and be loaned back to us for a month?
As I understand it, you can bring in a player to your squad up to 24 hours prior to the game?
I remember Danny Ward made his debut in Rijeka if I recall rightly, and he was signed a couple of days prior?
If Devlin is injured, we HAVE to sign a player.
Even if he's fit, we desperately need cover.
That said, it sounds like the club are saying McKenna is going To Croatia regardless (unless our valuation is met).
