That's the fate of most managers. I think he was manager of the Month in February! Hope he finds another club.
From or point of view I doubt it makes much difference, We know a win is needed in a fortnight no matter who is in charge of the opposition.
Aye...he actually did a decent job there over a few seasons but failed to/couldn't properly replace Stewart and Hemmings last summer and this current collapse made a firing inevitable.
I know the common wisdom is it's not great playing a team with 'new manager bounce' but given they pumped us 5-1 last time and under Hartley took 7 points from 9 off us this term, after a 4-4 split last year, I don't think we should be panicking about the timing either.
