A little bit of History for you all

I was given a book of West Bromwich Albion Miscellany for my birthday, which came as a huge surprise as I thought I was a Stoke fan, or so I'm told!!!
However I've just read the book, which is by a David Clayton, a journalist up in Manchester, and I came across something that might be of interest to you.

In 1919, because of some unruly behaviour at Molineux and with permission granted by The Football League, Wolves played two games at The Hawthorns! Wolves lost 4-2 against Barnsley and drew 2-2 against Stockport County.

There is a similar book for your club by the same author priced at about £9 from Amazon.

Quite so sweeper5 - 29 November and 6 December 1919.

So, the evidence is that we struggle to win at the Hawthorns even when the Albion don't turn up!
