Just in case some of you haven’t seen this news elsewhere.
A great servant to the club (especially to the various SC branches) over many decades and an extremely approachable and generous man to boot, sadly gone. :blue:
RIP Ray.

Thanks Orgs.
I didn't know him but know of him. LUFC through and through is an understatement.
God bless

RIP - proper old school diamond
Very sad news.
Committed to our cause 24/7 and a voice of calm on our fateful trips to Istanbul & Milan in 2000.
All will sadly miss his passionate enthusiasm and genuine care.
My thoughts to Bel and Howard.
Leeds United were born on October 17, 1919 and so was another body, a movement which made the transition possible and thrives to this day - the Leeds United Supporters Club.
Once Leeds United were formed, the challenge was to prove to the Football League and its existing members that Leeds were worthy of a place at the table and that professional football in Leeds actually had legs. The Supporters Club helped win that argument by raising £12,000 before United’s election to the Football League in May 1920, worth £600,000 in today’s money. When the election came, Leeds were admitted with 31 votes.

Very sad news indeed.
Leeds though and through.

Sad for Leeds. Just learned about him.
If only football had more like him.
