Prediction League - Besiktas
I thought Besiktas would be the team to watch out for in our group, but they suffered a surprising defeat to Slovan Bratislava, who I thought would be the doormat of the group, in the first match of the group stages. We lost as well, so both teams will be eager to get some points in this match. Turkish teams are usually a tough environment for visitors, as their fans are some of the most passionate around. They are having a season similar to ours - talented team, but off to a poor start in league play. The Slovan Bratislave match was their fourth match of the season - in all competitions - in which they conceded 3+ goals. Sounds like if we maintain discipline at the back and take advantage of them on the counter, we'll have a chance to win. But I have no idea what to expect in reality.
